'Last Train to Gold Hill

'was the last train stop at Gold Hill,

the air was still and frozen.

the conductor hopped off,

felt tons of gold below him.

'thought about the rough rails,

overgrown trails and rogue bulls to get here,

'cause Gold Hill has the food, fuel and hot coffee

...to stay clear.

the conductor thanked Gold Hill,

full of souls to believe in...

He thought "I can't leave without

leavin' something for y'all to eat in."

"I'll break these 1,000 lb couplings,

like freedom from the noose

I now christen a new home,

for this old Alaskan Caboose."
